Black History Month: Diversity in Design

February is Black History Month, so it’s a great time to seek out diversity in design. I looked at works from Georg Olden, who in 1945 started working for CBS and opened up the field of broadcast graphics, to Eddie Opara who works at the Pentagram design agency. Here is just a sampling of graphic arts by black designers. Click on the images to find out more about each artist.
