We’ve all seen the get-rich-quick schemes. Despite the fact that these are often scams, the businesses behind them are highly successful.  Unfortunately, many who purchase these “programs” buy into the hype and fail to see what will really work for them.  Instead of doing as the program publisher tells them to do, they should do exactly what the program publisher is doing itself.  Don’t practice what they preach.  Practice what they do.  That’s what works.

What are the magnates of your industry doing to succeed? You don’t need marketing classes to be observant. All you need to do is watch, learn and emulate. Don’t just follow one industry leader, and study other industries to see where the future is headed (and how you can tie into it). While it’s true that what works for one won’t work for all, it is also true that what works for many will work for most.

Just don’t scam anyone.  In the long run, that never works.

Now, let’s list our “favorite” marketing scams.  What have you come across?
