5 Marketing Tools to Try This Spring

March 16, 2016

If you’re looking for a great way to boost sales this spring, it might be time to stray from the norm and try something new. Many marketers rely on postcards, catalogs, and flyers for springtime promotions; those are certainly powerful marketing tools and if they’re working for you, you should not abandon them. However, you can augment those efforts with the following seven creative and unique marketing tools to try this spring.

1. Booklets

Booklets can prove to be some of your best marketing tools, especially if you employ the right booklet marketing strategy. That means developing booklets that are useful to your target audience first, and market your products and services second.

Here’s a great example: hardware/home supply stores are busy in the spring because people purchase lawn care supplies such as rakes, gardening tools, grass seed, fertilizer, sprinklers, and more. Thus, a retailer that sells these things might print booklets as expert lawn care guides. The booklets would tell customers everything they need to know to get a lush, green lawn; and also be peppered with references to the products the retailer sells.

2. Window clings

Warm, fresh spring air brings people back outdoors – and right past retail shops. Entice them to come in for a visit with bright, big, attention-getting window clings. Print window clings that showcase your best-selling spring products, special deals and discounts, and the unique benefits you offer. This is a great way to draw in impulse buyers!

3. Car door magnets

Earn attention for your brand on-the-go – everywhere you go – with custom-printed car door magnets. You can print your logo, your website URL, a special offer, a picture of your products or something representative of your service offering, your phone number, and anything else you’d like on car door magnets.

Even better, get employees, friends, and family members to place car door magnets on their vehicles. Blanket your local area with your brand this spring, and you’ll be top-of-mind when customers need to buy what you sell.

4. Door hangers

Another great way to get your marketing outdoors and in customers’ homes, door hangers are excellent alternatives to direct-mail marketing that simply can’t be ignored. Have fun and keep your costs low by recruiting volunteers to help you distribute your door hangers; afterwards, reward them with a party for their efforts.

5. Hang tags

Another fantastic marketing tool for generating impulse sales, hang tags can feature your spring promotions, product benefits, and brand imagery on every product you sell. If you already get good customer traffic in your retail store, large, well-designed hang tags can make a significant difference on your bottom line.

Make a splash this spring by trying new marketing tools. The best part? You can print high-quality marketing tools at discount prices up to 60 percent off with PsPrint!
