Planning an upcoming graduation? Whether you’re sending graduation announcements or printing graduation invitation cards, you want to capture the spirit of your graduate and impress recipients and guests. Perhaps more importantly, you don’t want to accidentally omit key information. From preschool to high school to college, the following lists graduation announcement and invitation wording examples you can use in your own graduation cards.

What to include in graduation announcements and invitations

Let’s start by covering the essential information you need to include in your graduation cards:

  • Full name of the graduate
  • School name
  • Graduation year (“Class of 2017”)

If you’re sending invitations, your graduation cards should also include:

  • The time and date of the graduation party
  • Graduation party location
