Event marketing with printable invitation cards

printing-pressWhether you're marketing a single event or you're a full-fledged promoter, you should know that printable invitation cards represent some of the most powerful ways to influence people to attend. Why do I like printable invitation cards so much? Three reasons ...

1. They're personal. Billboards and posters are not hand-delivered to potential customers. Invitation cards are, so they mean something. Personally inviting attendees has more sway than blasting entire neighborhood with yet another billboard. It makes them feel special and valued. 2. They're easy to do. If you have a great event and an equally great mailing list, your event will be a hit. Nothing's easier than dropping a printable invitation card in the mailbox and waiting for the herd to arrive. 3. They're cheap. OK, so postage might not be the least expensive thing in the world, but printing invitation cards is cheap and when you run your campaign correctly (see No. 2 above) your return on investment far outweighs the cost of postage. Of course, I could go on and on espousing the virtues of printable invitation cards ... perhaps you wonder why I've made a distinction between printable invitation cards and just invitation cards, for example. The reason is simple: Invitation cards can be bought anywhere, anytime; printable invitation cards are those that you custom design. And it is this quality of customization that makes printable invitation cards so effective: You can directly connect with your customer base and boost profits exponentially. I would strongly agree with you here these are so much more personal and makes the client or the person receiving it all the more special. Looking at the make up of them they are really not that expensive. Thanks for your input with regards to this. I really am getting some valuable advice from this site.

Thank you for your feedback, Penny! It's certainly no secret to marketers that personalized marketing is a powerful way to establish relationships with clients. And business relationships lead to customer loyalty. Printable invitation cards are but one way to achieve this.

This is really a great site, and I am so enjoying reading up on all the different posts here.

I have to say that there is nothing better than having that personal touch with ones clients in business, in doing so this is one way of keeping then coming back to your business and using your products instead of moving to your competitors. Having a loyal clientèle, is what every business really needs, especially in hard times like the recession that the whole world had to face, and where some are still recovery from, having those clients really help keep businesses going .

Brian like you mentioned, printable invitation cards are one way of doing this, and there are many other small things that one can do to keep happy clients coming back.

Great post, never really thought about using invitation cards, we usually use flyer's, but have to say this makes it a lot more personal and I think that clients would really appreciate these more, making them feel as though you have taken the time to hand them to them personally making them feel extra special, than just getting a flyer's handed to them at lie the robot by some random person. Thats for the great concept there Brian, think I might just have to share with our marketing department and see what they think. :)

Hi Maya, thanks for the feedback! Flyers are powerful promotional tools for event marketing, of course, but I think that the personal touch lent by invitation cards can convince those "on the fringe" to attend. Keep up the good work, and let me know your results if your marketing department decides to give invitation cards a whirl!
