The circus is the perfect marriage between visual art and physical feat. As a child, I would watch in amazement as trapeze artists and lion tamers, all in their spectacular outfits, would perform seemingly impossible acts. Clowns were my favorite part of the show because their every move was designed to capture your attention. With the popularity of Circ de Soliel, more and more people have a new found love for the circus and all of its fantasy. As artists, we can grab plenty of inspiration from the circus and our fellow artists’ interpretations of it .
