I wonder what shade of blue Elvis’ blue suede shoes were. Were they cyan? Royal blue? Navy? Only a designer would really care what blue they were, but I think it’s a valid question. Elvis has made his mark in the design world by just being a musical icon for all to admire. Artists have always loved to interpret Elvis in their own way, and with the second week in August being National Elvis Week, I’ve chosen to look at eight very inspiring artistic interpretations of “the King” … I bet they were aqua blue :)
