There is something very powerful about a logo that has an underlying military theme. The color choice is muted and dominant, giving a sense of control and authority. As we have learned from celebrating Memorial Day and Independence Day every year, military images bring to our remembrance the sacrifices that countless soldiers have made for their country. If your next logo project falls in line with these characteristics, you might want to consider a military theme.
