Have a Spring Clean Up Sale

Looking for some spring marketing ideas? Nothing says spring like spring cleaning.

Try having a logo clean up sale! There are a lot of people out there that need logos, that’s certain. Going through the process of creating a logo from scratch can take time and should be compensated for accordingly. But consider those customers that already have a logo that they don’t necessarily hate. These clients shouldn’t be excluded from needing your logo services. Their current logo’s concept is good, but the artwork might not be the best. Here’s where the “clean up” part comes in. Hold a promotion where, for a flat rate, you take a client’s existing logo imagery and make it look better. If you look on the client’s business cards and their logo is pixilated, jagged around the edges or a weird color combination, you could “restore” their logo by producing a more polished version. Re-create the logo in your vector program and perhaps add some highlights or gradients to it. Finish off the edges and perhaps suggest a better font choice. I find that the hardest part of logo creation is coming up with the initial idea, but since this sale is strictly for those who have logos they already like, you’ve eliminated half of the work! After producing the new logo drafts, let the client know that in addition to logos, you produce flyers, brochures, websites, etc., and you might want to include a draft of one of these to showcase. Since they got a discounted price on their logo clean up they will be more likely to purchase additional services.
