Planning for events such as weddings, anniversaries and business soirees requires a careful balance between high quality and a sometimes low budget. You don’t want to go spend too much, but you also don’t want to look like you’re cutting corners. Printing is one area in which a good product doesn’t have to equal a pile of cash – PsPrint now offers invitation cards that cost a fraction of what other printers charge.

Invitations don’t have to be printed on transparent, embossed paper and done up with a ribbon. You can achieve a professional, classic or even romantic look with a high-gloss or matte paper stock and a creative design. Here are five steps to creating expensive-looking invitations at an inexpensive price:

  1. Choose and download a free template from which to create your invitation card.
  2. Think about the message you want to convey on your invitation and design it to those standards. Enlist professional graphic designers if needed.
  3. Select a paper stock: 14-point C2S gloss cover with glossy sheen on both sides; 13-point 100 percent recycled matte cover; or 14-point C1S gloss cover with glossy sheen on one side and printable, uncoated side on the other.
  4. Decide whether you’d like to add matching envelopes to your order.
  5. Want to save on postage as well as your writing hand? Opt for direct-mailing services.

With all the money you’ll save on invitation printing, there’s more to pour in to the bar budget!
