When it comes to designing wedding invites these days, anything goes. Why play it safe and send out old-fashioned black script on beige card stock, when so many folks are bending the rules in such fun, new ways? If you are designer looking to work on more wedding design (see this recent blog post) - then it helps to have a catalog of invites you like. Share these images with clients to see what they like, or suggest a certain style, paper or font. Obviously, if you are the one planning the wedding, you need to come to your designer or printer with ideas - so take a look! Here's a visual tour of the invites I found interesting, unusual, chic, beautiful and inspiring. Be sure to click through on the photos for further explanation of each design. (Shout-out to famous graphic designer David Airey, who's post on wedding invitation design led me to many of these image sources.)
