Our flag with its stars and stripes is a patriotic symbol that proudly represents our country. Since this is the theme for such holidays as Independence Day, your clients might be interested in using star imagery. A star not only represents that thing up in the sky, or a patriotic feeling as on our American Flag, but it can also give the meaning of protection and safety (think about the older police/sheriff badges). Educate your client on star logos, and see if this symbol can add a little something extra to your next logo project!
