It seems like just yesterday we were in the middle of summer, and now we’re looking Christmas right in the face.
A wonderful holiday filled with good cheer, good tidings and great parties! It’s no wonder we all love to gather around each other and celebrate this joyous time of year. All of you early birds have probably started to plan for your holiday parties: Who is going to host; what food you’ll have; who’s on the guest list? But one very important aspect of the party is the invitation. A great one will set the tone for your festive gathering. A special way of inviting people to your party would be to include them on the invitation inspiration. Send out an e-mail or make phone call beforehand asking them what the holiday season means to them. Gather up some of your favorite quotes and print them on your holiday invitation cards. Or use recent pictures of you and your guests spending quality time together and create a photo card that will not only show them you’re thinking of them for the holidays, but the invitation will remain a keepsake for years to come. After gathering this information from your guests, you can get busy putting together your invitations. If you choose to use pictures, you can buy pre-made cards and attach personalized pictures to the front and back with spray adhesive or double-sided tape. Each invitation can be different or could correlate with the guest that is coming. Stencil your guests’ quotes on the inside front of your invitations, or on the outside of place setting cards where each one of them will be sitting (using the same design as the invitations themselves). The possibilities are endless!
