Nothing excites me more than finding an artist that has created a new way of looking at the normal world around us. Thomas Allen has done just that. A book photographer, Thomas Allen has taken the everyday book cover, and created movement and drama that seems to be hidden as soon as we put our books back on the shelves and walk away. The brilliant lighting effects and placement of the figures enhance the life-like scenarios created by these fictional characters. Showing depth and perspective, we get to experience the book’s “stories” come to life. Take time to view each photograph carefully so that you won’t miss a thing…
