Crafters make things with their hands, so it makes sense that flyers for craft shows would be creative. This past holiday season, I made it a point to avoid big-box stores and instead shop with independent artists, and the easiest way to do that was to attend craft fairs, where many diverse artistans sold their wares in one location. In typical DIY fashion, the marketing for these fairs often consisted of club card flyers and postcards distributed at cafes and boutiques as well as advertised via an event on Facebook – cheap and no frills! Here are 16 craft fair flyers that grabbed my attention this holiday season as well as an assortment of others I’ve stumbled upon. Note the details in the graphic design that catch your eye. Is it the color scheme? The vintage approach? The typography?
