I’ve had my graphic design business for four years now, and I think the part that continues to hit me over the head the most about owning my own business is … well … the business part! If I could sit in a room and do art all day, leaving the bills and the invoices to someone else, that would be my dream. Unfortunately, most of us that start our own businesses have to pay our dues first before being able to have those types of employees. We have to be our own accountants, secretaries, marketing experts and technical support reps. But I’ve also found that because so many people are starting their own businesses, a lot of supportive software has been created to help us. There are many different types of invoicing systems out there, especially for the graphic artist. But I just love listing free stuff! Here are five free invoicing systems that you can use to keep track of all those clients that are going to owe you money. • Bamboo Invoice • phpBMS open source project • Invoice Journal • Simple Invoices • Billing Boss

Hey. Great blog! You echo the same sentiments we have heard from many small business owners about losing time & energy to the "business part" of running a business. That's what we are solving for with Billing Boss.
Thanks for the mention and feel free to post questions or provide feedback in our Billing Boss Community!
Thanks for the comment Sage. I personally use Billing Boss and love it. It keeps track of everything, is super easy to use, and it looks good! lol. I've already recommended several of my entrepreneur friends to use it and will continue to do so.
