Holiday Card Ideas for Your Business

The annual company holiday card is a tradition that’s become a bit stale. Some businesses have opted for e-cards while others have done away with cards all together. But that’s exactly why you should send holiday cards: Take advantage of the boring competition and create cards that stand out. Here are tips to design memorable cards that add value and call attention to your company. Yes, you still have time!

Include a coupon – A holiday card serves as a reminder to your clients that you’re still around. A coupon is that extra step to solicit business without coming across as a marketing ploy. It’s a gift! Make it shine – There’s no denying it – human beings are attracted to shiny objects. Make your cards stand out among the others with foil stamping. It can be used as an accent or as an eye-popping primary effect. Involve the kids – On the flipside, use a black-and-white image on the card. Make it a simple tree or star, and encourage your customers to have their children color in the card. Then add value to the card by asking the card recipients to come in to your shop or mail the card back to you for a discount on your services. If you have a brick-and-mortar business, decorate it with the colored-in cards. Procrastinate much? It’s not too late to tackle the task of creating, printing and sending holiday cards – that’s what the whole month of December is for, when PsPrint cards are on sale for 40 percent off! With free greeting card templates, designing is easy. And by ordering them online, you save time by not even leaving the house. Delivery is often five days or less, or you can choose direct-mail services – yet again saving you time. Also, if you’re concerned about the environment, there are certainly ways to green your cards, such as choosing recycled paper and using soy-based inks. Whether you yourself celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa or nothing at all, a holiday card is a way to acknowledge your customers and thank them for their business.
