Larger Than Life

I’ve never feel so small as when I look up at the stars and think about the vastness of the universe. That is until I saw the installations of Robert Therrien. This artist has taken objects that we as humans normally tower over, and he makes them tower over us. Dining room sets, patio furniture and plates are some of the inanimate objects that he has chosen as his subjects. Creating them in such a large scale, gives you the feeling of walking through a building rather than furniture. I think art is about showing an otherwise overlooked perspective, and Robert Therrien does just that. Check out seven stunning works from Robert Therrien.
