Today is a very special day for “Star Wars” fanatics – May 4 translates to “May the Fourth be with you!” In honor of Star Wars Day, I searched around for creative takes on the iconic characters and catchphrases, and I found that design skill is strong in these graphic artists. The “Star Wars” series has become so ubiquitous that a number of the designs below are mashups with samurai, religion, propaganda and various genres of pop culture, including anime, ’80s movies and comic books. I don’t think it’s an accident that lots of creative types are also obsessed with “Star Wars” – take a note of the number of designs compiled here that combine typography and other graphic elements. I’ve got a good feeling about this compilation of “Star Wars” design – yes, it’s the fan art you’re looking for.

Awesome!!!
It should surprise no one to learn that this is my favorite blog post ever. Awesome job, Jennifer!
I'm noticing a lack of the "new" trilogy, and a lot of Empire.
Think I need the alphabet one for my son's room.
