Easy Sticker Marketing
September 19, 2010
Stickers aren’t just for your car bumper anymore. As crafting continues to catch on, it’s all about DIY, and stickers are for even the most untalented among us. If you have a nice-looking logo someone designed for you, print out stickers and affix them all over the place. Surely you can handle that level of artsiness, right? Here are two cheap and simple sticker marketing ideas for retail stores, restaurants and plenty of other small businesses. Takeout boxes. I dine out a lot, and that means a lot of leftovers. Sometimes prepping my lunch for work entails popping open box after box in the refrigerator to see what’s still appealing. You know what makes things easier and quicker? When there’s a sticker on the box telling me which restaurant it came from. It’s a simple way to promote your business. This way, your eatery can buy plain takeout boxes in bulk – usually cheaper! – and you can personalize them on your own with stickers. Shopping bags. Reusable, canvas totebags are all the rage these days – when people remember to use them. In the meantime, take advantage of the second R in “reduce, reuse, recycle” by affixing your sticker to paper bags to hand out to shoppers. Hopefully, customers will reuse that bag for their lunches or simply to carry items, with your eye-catching sticker promoting your company! Rather than order preprinted shopping bags, you can simply purchase mass quantities of paper bags and identify your shop through the sticker.
