Hot Off the Press: Maker Faire, Asian Art Museum and More

The term “starving artist” exists, unfortunately, for a reason. The label implies that people can’t make a living off art, doing what they love. But gosh darn it – that doesn’t mean plenty of creative types won’t stop trying. Savvy artists break the stereotype by scrambling to get their works shown in galleries, scheduling receptions and promoting the heck out of the shows. Marketing is made affordable with printing at PsPrint, and postcards are among the most popular tools chosen by painters, sculptors, photographers and more, because they offer ample space to spotlight artworks as well as exhibit information. This week’s “Hot Off the Press,” like those in past weeks, showcases a number of postcards for art shows at galleries, schools and even a tattoo shop. Then there are other PsPrint customers, whose designs for posters, stickers, brochures, letterhead, business cards and catalogs are sure to inspire your next printed piece. Have you printed anything particularly eye-catching lately with PsPrint? Please let us know on the Comments below, and we might include you in a future “Hot Off the Press”!
