Happy birthday, Golden Gate Bridge! On Sunday that icon of the San Francisco Bay Area, the Golden Gate Bridge, turns 75. We here at PsPrint are lucky to regularly catch a glimpse of the bridge, because we’re headquartered in Oakland, just across the bay. Blogger Brian Morris recently posted a terrific blog compiling Golden Gate Bridge graphic design, and this week’s “Hot Off the Press” includes a postcard of the bridge for the Oakland Museum of California in that retro, “wish you were here” style. While PsPrint’s online printing means we have customers all over the country, our roots are in the Bay Area, where customers pop in all day to save on shipping costs and pick up their orders. (Don’t forget, though, that we also have printing plants with Will Call in Bethlehem, Pa., and Chicago.) So today’s “Hot Off the Press” honors our San Francisco Bay Area roots by including inspirational design for the Blackhawk Museum, nonprofit The Bread Project, the Marin County Fair, Trippin’ Gypsy’s dazzling maps and more local organizations. If you can’t get enough of great design by PsPrint customers, be sure to check out last week’s “Hot Off the Press.” And if you recently submitted a print order you’re proud of, please let us know in the Comments below!
