One of my favorite times of the year is when the new season of California Shakespeare Theater is announced. It means that the weather is warming up soon, and I’ll be able to pack a bag with wine and fruit and lug my camping chair to Orinda, Calif., to enjoy theater at twilight with cows braying in the fields behind the Bruns Amphitheater. In addition to performing a handful of outdoor plays each year, Cal Shakes also hosts youth programs, in-school residencies and other forms of arts education, including the Summer Shakespeare Conservatory. To create awareness for all of its programs, Cal Shakes creates print marketing such as banners, program booklets, postcards and brochures, including this one: “PsPrint benefits Cal Shakes because they are fast, affordable and efficient,” said Callie Cullum, graphic designer for California Shakespeare Theater. “The quality is always superb.” Cal Shakes is a short drive away from PsPrint’s Oakland location, which means theater employees can skip shipping costs and pick up their printing orders. “The new pick-up section is great, and I've never had an order be late,” Cullum told me. “They are almost always early!” April is Customer Appreciation Month at PsPrint.
