Holy wish fulfillment, Batman! Was it just last November that San Francisco was transformed into Gotham City, and for one day, a 5-year-old boy got to live his dream? It all started with this:
The organization responsible for organizing Miles’ wish was Make-a-Wish Greater Bay Area, which has been printing with PsPrint for 10 years. Make-a-Wish came to PsPrint for business cards to hand out at the event that included a link so participants could keep up-to-date on the day’s itinerary. (Click here to see all the photos PsPrint Sonia took of the Batkid event, including the cards PsPrint printed.) To keep the momentum – and awareness – going, Make-a-Wish afterward printed inspirational stickers: As a nonprofit organization, Make-a-Wish faces the challenge of widely promoting itself at a low cost so more of its budget can go toward providing wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions. “We use PsPrint for jobs that we need to get done quickly and cost-effectively,” says Jen Wilson, marketing and promotions manager at Make-a-Wish Greater Bay Area. “We always know that the piece will be done on time or even sooner and that you will offer us a price that’s very hard to beat.” To be able to provide all those wishes, Make-a-Wish hosts numerous fundraisers each year, including two separate Walk for Wishes events. Here is the postcard PsPrint printed for the June walk: Another fundraiser for which PsPrint did the printing is this weekend’s Wishes in Wine Country. Marketing materials included booklets, postcards, magnets and posters: PsPrint wishes you would visit the Make-a-Wish Greater Bay Area website for more information on how you can help provides wishes – as well as refer a child!Customer Appreciation – Make-a-Wish Greater Bay Area
