This week’s collection of inspiring printing comes from a batch of really imaginative people – do-it-yourselfers who are not only creative in their professional lives but also in their marketing styles. The booklet cover for Kathryn Murray Calligraphy showcases her skill without being too in-your-face. In addition, designer Amanda Slatter’s postcard of the “Bull City” – Durham, N.C. – is frame-worthy. Finally, Andrew Hoffman created the “brewmbox” below for Breckenridge Brewery for a banner at the Underground Music Showcase, and because the brewery loved the design so much, it decided to make stickers. This week’s “Hot Off the Press” has marketing tools for bakers, artists, theater troupes, musicians, designers and other creative types, and as you can see by their print jobs below, that makes for the most interesting design inspiration. Did you miss last week’s “Hot Off the Press” because you were on vacation? It had some great wedding thank-you cards, retro signage and more. If you’d like your recent design to be included in “Hot Off the Press,” please let me know in the Comments!
