Some things never get old when it comes to marketing – animals, for one thing. There’s a reason the Internet is brimming with cat videos. Sure enough – if you slap an image of a cute dog or penguin on your print marketing, anyone with a pulse is going to notice. Children are also attention-getting – but only if they’re cute. That’s why the little boy with the oversized glasses on What Now America?’s brochure makes me smile – he just looks so sincere in his giddiness. So the next time you’re planning out your promotions strategy, consider what catches your attention – is it paragraphs of text or fluffy animals? Marketing catchphrases or beaming children? This week’s “Hot Off the Press” features animals and kids in creative printing jobs that we’ve handled recently. There’s also plenty of clean design and unique typography for postcards, stickers, business cards, brochures and invitations. Are you feeling inspired yet? Be sure to check out last week’s “Hot Off the Press” for even more graphic design inspiration.
